BlinkList is an excellent online social bookmarking management tool as it allows users to bookmark pages, add tags, and share bookmarks with the BlinkList community.
BlinkList provide each user their own special page of bookmarks. The bookmarks can be set as private or shared. The bookmarking tool allows registered users the ability to access their bookmarks from any computer.
The setup is very fast and simple and the BlinkList button can be added to your browser toolbar to give you a quick and convenient way to save a site, add a note, add 1 to 5 star rating, and then use recommended tags or create your own tags.
BlinkList touts their advantage to Del.icio.us in that the ability to organize a large number of tagged bookmarks as well as the ability to maintain private links offers a better personal bookmark solution with the same social capabilities.
BlinkList users may post their tag cloud to their blog or website. Each user account has a public user page allowing for the socialization of their public bookmarks and link classifications. Users may setup watchlists for other user bookmarks, add friends, and see the fans for their user account.
The new BlinkList Spaces provides user the ability to create new topic focused pages and invite others to participate in the content. This is currently promoted as a tool for sharing knowledge and learning about a topic that is developed by the BlinkList community.
