Facebook is becoming a standard in the social networking space. The identity factor and viral growth based on this identity and tools for adding new members are significant.
Facebook gives us a second chance to “do over” the mistakes of Myspace.
I you’re not already using Facebook, you’ll soon be invited or will hear a story about other friends using it and updating their profiles on a regular basis.
James Rivington on TechRadar.com recently posted the Top 15 Tips for Facebook. I love this list.
1. Use Facebook mail instead of proper email
2. Add old friends and then forget about them
3. Adding people you don’t even know
4. Adding single-serving holiday friends
5. Accepting friend invitations from people you don’t know
6. Update Facebook profile when you’re supposedly ill
7. Write on a wall instead of communicating privately
